SubscriberHello, I am simulating the stability in ship hulls 2d, with model vof and 6dof with dynamic mesh, to see the movement of the ship with a certain list, my query is, as I generate my geometries, I have seen that they generate a move_out over the contour of the object and that surface generate the dynamic mesh, I am somewhat lost in the subject, I would be grateful if someone could guide me or give some reference, attentive to your comments, thanks!

Dear thanks, the problem that I need to solve is similar to the one described in the video, I have a question, does that problem include the strength of buffers? I need the body to float and according to a certain degree of inclination, which generates a transfer from point c to c', generating a righting moment will tend to move to its equilibrium position (when the force of the weight is equal to that of buoyant in the same line of action). representing the image that is attached. , I need to simulate how is the flow through the surface of the vessel, until reaching the equilibrium position, I will be attentive to your comments, thank you very much!

Ansys EmployeeYou will have to use 6dof option. You will need to create a udf or you can use GUI options shown in previous video.
Please have a look at following videos.
Please go through customization manual in help for more information on udf and corresponding macros.
