Ansys EmployeeYes, that's possible. Have a read through of the Moving Mesh section of the Fluent manual, I think you're looking at rigid body motion and remeshing. Note, the inner diameter cannot become zero as you must maintain the same topology.
You will probably need a full tet mesh, and I'd suggest refining the mesh.

Ansys EmployeeIt may also be possible to use layering in 2d axi-symmetric which would be much quicker depending on the rest of the model.

Subscriberthanks a lot for the answer but can you explain to me what I need to set inside the dynamic mesh and the boundary condition? Because my setting doesn't work and displays "not found zones face" or " negative volume" and I cannot understand why!
