Simulate 3D space using 2D base

      Hi,

From my understanding a 2D space is modelled to have infinite depth. I am trying to model a fluid injection using a needle into an airflow. I there a way I can set up my boundary conditions to model this, ie. model my space as a 3D cylinder instead of a square slot with infinite depth.

      Thanks.

The only option is to use axis-symmetric 2D. Otherwise you need to use 3D solver. But the flow won't be symmetric so please use 3D.n
