@peteroznewman I have a question, I simulate a dynamic load but with a static calculation.
The truck carries an articulated arm and it will pass over the retarders so I have to do a calculation on my arm, so to get back to a static calculation I just have to apply a force that equals the mass multiplied by the acceleration of the truck, but I didn't know where I'm going to put this force and that's how much mass I have to take, knowing that the arm is embedded in the truck on one side and on the other side there's a point force.
here is the picture below , this picture is on adams just to show you all the mechanism but I only simulate the arm on workbench

SubscribernApply an Acceleration Load. You will find that under the Inertial category in a Static Structural analysis.nAll the parts have mass. The acceleration load will generate a force on the mass. nA few faces must have Fixed Support.
