      Good afternoon,

I'm not able to simulate in refine mode. The simulation does not advance further than the progress visible in the attached figure.Ā Could you help me please?Ā

      Hi Devendra ,
I successfully simulate the "mixer tee fluid solid thermal" example in Refine mode.

      Ā

For my case study, I replicated all the steps from this tutorial - https://discoveryforum.ansys.com/t/p8hx1nb (including part 2), and the problem persists. The simulation does not progress.

Have you had the opportunity to check out my case study? I re-attach the dsco file.

Sandra SorteĀ I am working on on this, the simulation is taking longer to progress. I will update you soon as possible.Ā

        Regards.

Devendra BadgujarĀ I can already simulate in refine mode.Ā
I don't know what I did to get past the previous error. But I can't see the results, it gives me the following error.
        Ā

How can I get around this problem? I want to visualize the streamlines and direction field.

        Sandra SorteĀ

Thanks for the update.Ā  I will need to check the logs to investigate the problem further.

Can you please send the following '' logs '' folder. Type %temp% in Windows Search and locate Discovery folder and find the latest session. Then grab the entire ā€œlogsā€ folder within that session directory and send.

Devendra BadgujarĀ can find the logs folder attached.
Thanks in advance for your help.

      HiĀ Sandra Sorte

It seems you are using 2021 R2 version.Ā You can try this in the latest versionĀ of Discovery 2022 R1 and check. I am also running this case in the latest version, but was getting the mesh error as it seems that the small features were not getting captured due to current fidelity settings. I will try changing the fidelity settings to capture the small features and will get back to you once it solves.

I am also checking with the team on this and will update you once I get more information.

      Regards.

      HiĀ Sandra Sorte

You will have to use local mesh controls only where you need to like here in the regions having small features. You must have at least 2-3 cells per small gap to capture those regions. Ideally you'd want more but will take more time to solve.

Please try doing this and let me know if this helps.

      Regards.
