Simulating the behavior of a body in vacuum

      Hi,

I would like to simulate the thermal behavior (in ansys aim) of a body (e.g cube) in vacuum. Can someone tell me if the following is an advisable approach?

      • define only radiation boundary in simple thermal simulation template

or should i incorporate a fluid simulation and incorporate low pressure boundary conditions to it?

      Appreciate your help

      Thanks

If it's radiation transfer only I'd suggest using Mechanical. Why use a CFD code if there aren't any fluids?
