SubscriberDear sir,
I run a 2d vof fluid flow modeling of open channel flow. My case file could run well in the PC, when i run the same in Cluster High performance computing, the simulation halts due to some reason as shown below. kindly help.

Ansys EmployeeIt seems that it has some issues missing answer starting from the very first question. What you can do is to change the file batch options and to deselect Confirm File overwrite.

SubscriberDear Amine,
Thanks for the early response.
How to change the file batch option and how to deselect confirm file overwrite.
These things are new to me. Kindly help. Thanks.

Ansys EmployeePost the journal, we won't debug it but may be able to spot the error and give some tips.
Batch options are in the GUI under File or in the /file menu somewhere.

SubscriberThanks rwoolhou,
Here is the journal file to run in High performance cluster.
rcd NewTry.cas
/f as df 100
/f as cf e-t
/f as r-m-r-f no
/f as m-f 2
/f as r-n NewTry
/solve dti 2000 40
/exit yes
Thank you

Ansys EmployeeI'd advise setting up the autosave in the case on your local machine and then the run journal reduces to
/file/read-case-data NewTry.cas
etc
Also test the journal locally. As Amine mentions Fluent has asked a question but from the transcript it's not clear why.
Only use journal shorthand when you're very experienced: some of the short hand commands can trigger commands other than what you're expecting.

SubscriberThanks rwoolhou and Amine for the timely help.
Thanks rwoolhou for your suggestion on handling journal file. I think i have got the solution. I will try them and report back if it works
Thanks

SubscriberDear rwoolhou and Amine,
I have set up the auto save as mentioned and then developed the cas and dat file. Then I tried to run in cluster high performance computer with the same script.
Fluent asks the same question again. This occurs only with the ANSYS FLUENT 2020,while it worked well with other previous versions.
Kindly give some thought to it.
Thanks

SubscriberThanks rwoolhow and Amine. I fixed the error by using expanded journal commands and by turning off the set-batch options.
Thanks
