SubscriberThere is a furnace with a porous layer at the bottom. Reduction is happening in the bottom layer, which has been incorporated as UDF (with energy and gas concentration source and sink terms). combustion is happening using methane as the major fuel etc. during this combustion CO CO2 and temperature are produced inside the furnace. Similarly at the bottom there is a porous layer where the hematite is getting reduced to iron through these reactions given below using the CO and temperature produced by combustion. Fe2O3 + CO -->Fe3O4 + CO2 Fe3O4 + CO -->FeO + CO2 FeO + CO -->Fe + CO2 CO2 + C--> CO in case of any further explanation needed kindly ask me. i can explain further. My problem is that the simulation is running but no variation in the concentration and temperature is happening.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation. Click here to join this event to learn how to leverage Ansys Fluids on the cloud, thanks to Ansys Gateway powered by AWS.
