Simulation time step for two-phase flow

      Hallo,

I have a question with selecting the simulation time step of two-phase flow. Considering the particle or droplet response time, how the simulation time step should be selected for fluent simulations in case of Euler-Euler or Euler-Lagrangian Models. Should the simulation time step be always larger than particle or droplet response time.?

      Thank you.

      Best regards,

      Nithin

Typically you need to resolve the fluid flow as the particles will respond to that. However, that also depends on how fast the particles are added to the domain, and what's driving the flow.
