Sinusoidal wavy channel mess formation

How to mess this wavy channel. I am trying every thing but not able to get good meshing. Also i am using turbulent k-epsilon model in which y+ value required to capture the laminar sub layer. But how to feed y+ value in Ansys fluent, i tried with inflation option but error in mesh is coming. the second generated mesh i have taken from literature, i want to generate the same mesh.

You probably need to insert a method (under meshing) for Sweep and set the top (planar) face as source. Then inflate the Sweep method (right click on the Sweep you just created).

There are various y+ calculators around, so have a look. Depending on the flow you may also need to refine around the curves if separation occurs.

Attached is a workbench project file for your reference which shows how to achieve the mesh in the screenshot below:

To capture the laminar sublayer, you need to have a y+ value of approximately 1. Refer to the following screenshot to measure the distance of the first node from the wall. You can play with your edge sizing to achieve the desired wall distance.

hey, what is selection information box?. what does it means? i am getting this type of mesh.. it is not matching with nodes?

The Selection Information box provides you information regarding the object you select, like nodes, vertices, faces, bodies. You select two nodes and it would provide you information such as the coordinate locations of each point and then the distance between the two points.

Did you select the mesh node as the selection option?

Now i think both i have selected surface body. but i have a doubt regarding mess which i have mentioned in circle. is it ok? as nodes are not matching i think? Will it effect the solution?

I am not really sure what those points on your mesh are. You mesh looks conformal and doesn't seem to have any inconsistencies. Which version of Ansys are you using?

I am using ANSYS 19.2 academic version.
