SubscriberIs it the intended behavior when sketching that when you sketch in different components you can't see any of the sketches before whether you are on the same plane or not. They are there but invisible? Is this a bug? See video for example of this? -

Subscriber🛈 This post originally contained file attachments which have been removed in compliance with the updated Ansys Learning Forum Terms & ConditionsHello Tim Dukes , Even I faced this issue when I was tried with curves that are not closed. When a closed curve is created, a surface is generated, which is seen if you sketch in different components. I am not sure if this behaviour is intended or not, I will get back to you with more information on that. Please let me know if I understood the problem right. Regards. -

SubscriberHi Charudatta Bandgar
Thanks for the reply. With layout curves and and non closed sketches that are in a component the curves are invisible whenever a sketch grid is applied somewhere. So they can't be referenced. Sometimes lines and construction lines are used to reference things from one component to the next but they if the user can't see them this becomes a problem.

SubscriberThat is quite understandable, Tim Dukes . I think sketches and construction lines are useful. I will let you know if I get to know further.
Regards.
