SubscriberIn previous releases of SpaceClaim when you put a sketch grid on a surface (planar) you would take the surface back to curves. Now it stays as a surface?
In the image below there are now 3 surfaces on the same plane and the surface circled is layered on top of the one below.
I'm aware you can take it back to the old way of working in the options. But is there anyway of taking a surface back to curves without having to project all the lines off?

SubscriberHello Tim Dukes ,
The new sketching is meant to be used with block recording, and going back to sketch (as with earlier version) is not possible. But I will let you know if I get to know more regarding this.
Regards.

SubscriberCharudatta Bandgar you can go back to how it was (and I did) - Options/Advanced/Enable Constrained based sketching. Turn that off, and you are back to the old (and IMHO better) interface. And it will make the cut you are requesting.

SubscriberThanks, Michael Holm
I think OP is aware of that method, as he states in the question itself. Thanks for highlighting that tho. Really appreciated.
and IMHO better
It is in the initial stages, and will further be improved, although thanks for the honest feedback.
