SubscriberHello all,
I have a problem about the setting of solar radiation angle.
In the numerical simulation of the influence of solar radiation on the indoor flow field and temperature field, I hope that the solar radiation angle can change with time. However, in the solar calculator of Fluent, the angle of the sun and the latitude and longitude of the region are all fixed values. I have no way to make it change in the same solution process.
Can only be achieved through UDF? Or is there any other way to help me? Thank you!

Ansys EmployeeThe general assumption is that CFD model time scales are sufficiently short that you don't need to update the solar load during a run. A typical CFD time step is a fraction of a second, the solar vector change in that time is going to be low.
