Source Term 2D Axisymmetric

I am trying calculating the total power input of a 2D axisymmetric model, a modeled rectangle with r = 1.25mm, h = 0.125mm, with a energy source of 3e8 W/m3. Is the total power of 0.184W correct? By having 3e8 * the cylindrical volume.

      Hi,

In 2D we assume the domain is 1 m thick.

For volume intergration, please find more details in user's guide: 38.8. Volume Integration (ansys.com)

If you are not able to access the link, please refer to this forum discussion: Using Help with links (ansys.com)

      Thank you

For 2D Axisysmmetric case you provide the source term as it is for full 3D sector.

What is the 3D volume here? Is it Pi*R^2*h or Sum*2Pi? What is the sum in the volume integration link? Thanks.

Your calculation in your first post is correct. You get 0.184 W.
