SpaceClaim has stopped working

      where can i get support? I've downloaded the software  but it doesn't run. When i click the icon, it says SpaceClaim has stopped working. it never runs? where can i get some guidance on this??

      Can you send snapshot of the error message that you are getting?

      Are you getting any error message while launching Discovery Live or AIM?

      Also, did you install Discovery products in admininstrative mode? If not, can you try reinstalling it again?

      I did uninstall, and installed again once. I'm sure im in adminstrative mode but im not certain how to double check that. attached is the error that pops up

      The error occurs when trying to run Discovery SpaceClaim. Also with Discovery Live. Thanks

      Hi,
      I solved the same problem (see my other posts), for that, I disabled the firewall and antivirus and launched Spaceclaim for the first connection with the server license.
      I hope that help.

      unfortunately this did not resolve my issue. I disabled my firewall and antivirus and no success. I talked to my IT guy and he was wondering if he needs to open some port on main server but thats over my head... is there somewhere he can go to and get more info? is there a support number maybe? i couldnt locate one..

        I think it’s the firewall that blocks the connection with the server license and that spaceclaim stops working (exactly the same screenshots as you)

        nicolas i tried the link and it doesn't appear to be my firewall.. i got 0% loss on the ping ... all the other stuff is going over my head so im going to have my it guy come in today. he doesn't think its the firewall either but he's coming in to doublecheck everything else. he's asked me for a support number but i haven't found one....

        d_one Did you get any chance to try out the advice given by  BBueno_ANSYS of uninstalling and reinstalling the product by disabling antivirus? Did this help to resolve the issue?

        Naresh Patre i did this but it did not resolve my issue. he next had me update my video card and this did resolve my issue!! it is up and running!! thanks!
