SubscriberHello all,
I am doing a reverse engineering project to create new geometry from an STL file on Ansys SpaceClaim. Once I finished turning the skin surface into a solid geometry, I have check stitches, gaps, and missing faces which is work perfectly, and no errors are found. However, when I right-click on the solid geometry and click check geometry, many errors pop up (around 90 errors) mostly said the skin surface needs to be recreated. I would like to ask why did this happens and some advice on how to fix these errors because I have tried to recreate some faces and it does not work.
Thank you,

Ansys EmployeePlease check following. nPlease make sure that you use different tools to create different bodies. Do not use only skin surface. nIf you use skin, please make sure that you create small patches instead of big patches. nRegards,nKeyurnHow to access Ansys Online Help DocumentnHow to show full resolution imagenGuidelines on the Student CommunitynHow to use Google to search within Ansys Student CommunitynViewing 1 reply thread- You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
