SubscriberHello everyone, I have a problem finding Si term in Ansys Fluent Guide in species transport equation (Eq. 7.1-1). How is it defined?
Thank you in advance,
Jacob

Ansys EmployeeCheck the text: most/all variables are defined in the paragraph immediate after first use. That could mean Si is defined in an earlier section. Note, please use the documentation in the current release: manuals on third party sites are likely out of date and may adversely effect (infect) your computer!

SubscriberThank you for the advice. Unfortunately Si is not defined earlier. It considers mostly species coming from evaporation, devolatilization and heterogeneous reactions. But these relations have not been directly given.

Ansys EmployeeSi is the rate of creation by addition from the dispersed phase plus any user-defined sources.
Directly below the equation in the current documentation.

SubscriberYes but I thought that this relation would be given. Especially since FLUENT does use it.
