SubscriberHello,
When using the species transport model, how do I pull out volume concentration values of each species during post processing? Fluent only seems to provide mass fraction, mole fraction, molar concentration.
Thank You

Ansys EmployeeYes you need your input of volume concentration or partial density to mass fraction. -

SubscriberHi, thank you for the reply, but I do not quite understand what you mean by input vol conc.? While giving the inputs we only mention mass fraction as well as the velocities.
In my case I'm trying to validate a case where nitrogen is being mixed in air, and to compare my results to the reference I need volume concentration that I'm not able to get directly from fluent. Is there any way I can obtain this from fluent?
Thank you!! -

Ansys EmployeeUse the custom field functions (User Defined tab). As they're gases isn't volume fraction the same as mole fraction? It's been a while since I last had to think about it.
