Ansys EmployeeThe Stage model performs a circumferential averaging of the fluxes through bands on the interface. Usually, the number of bands will be chosen by the solver. However, a manual definition of the number of bands is possible via following expert parameters: force intersection = t ggi stage groups max = 20 The “force intersection = t” parameter forces a new intersection of the bands on the interface. The “ggi stage groups max” defines the number of bands for a circumferential averaging of the fluxes (in this example, 20).
