SubscriberI am running Random Vibration on "Enterprise" version and get this:
*** ERROR *** CP = 0.203 TIME= 14:54:00
The option of SPECTR on the ANTYPE command is either not available for
this version of Ansys or the appropriate product was not selected for
this session.
Contact your Ansys support person for more information.What does this mean? No license?

SubscriberI reran the analysis this morning and there were no issues. I cannot explain why, nothing changed except the time at which I ran it.
I then added "Fatigue Tool" - both "Life" and "Damage". Updating produces this new error: "To proceed with Fatigue analysis, 'Calculate Velocity' and 'Calculate Acceleration' in Output Controls must be set to Yes."
I set these to "Yes" in Options>Analysis Settings and Solution but the error persists.

SubscriberDiscovered that Calculate Acceleration/Calculate Velocity are under Random Vibration Analysis Settings and don't seem related to the same function in Options... Analysis ran.

SubscriberHi,
I ran into the same issue doing a very similar analysis. This error is due to the license in use not suporting the random vibration analysis, try switchting to a licensing level premium or enterprise. If you are using a student license it should have run, please check with support then.
