SubscriberHello A simple bracket has a fixed support on the bottom. If I cut out a piece of the bracket at the bottom, I have to redefine the fixed support on one of the two surfaces (not really user friendly but somehow still ok). However, the resulting deformations and stresses are wrong. See the attached images. Even if I add the fixed support manually, the results are still wrong. Only a new geometry change gives correct results. Save and open the file resolves the issue as well. I was able to reproduce this on two different computers. Â Best regards Stefan ÂÂ Â

Thanks for reporting this. I have reproduced the problem. The fastest way to get the simulation to recompute and show the correct deformation is by adjusting the Fidelity setting a small amount.
Which direction is not important, but a slight adjustment will display the correct results.
I will submit this to the development team for further investigation.
