I try to use the command “splitBody.Bycutter()” to cut my main body and hollow pipe. My main body is shown in the figure below. This main body is a solid body. I first cut out a hollow pipe with scanning. Now I want to put This pipeline is separated from the entity cutting. I can achieve this function in the operation interface, but when I use the code: “splitBody.Bycutter(bodySel, edgeSel)”, I get an error: “no tools selected”. In “edgeSel”, the ring edges at both ends have been selected. I don't know where the problem is, can you explain it for me? thanks for your help

Have you recorded the commands? Can you list more of those recorded commands?

What geometry are you trying to split the larger body by? It looks like you may have already split the larger body by the tube. How are you trying to use the ring edges at the ends to split the body?

Thank you for your suggestion, but many times the recording in SCDM does not respond, I guess it may be related to the complexity of the model. I have already solved it, I changed the way of thinking, the pipe in the main body is not processed into a hollow, when the scanning path is generated, I choose not to merge, and then cut off the extra parts on both sides, and I get what I want perfectly. The outer body of the body, the inner is a solid tube

Sure, it's always best to figure a different method when one method doesn't work.
