Discovery Import

Start-up error message

      I was able to launch Discovery trial yesterday without a problem, today I am greeted with the attached error message. No changes to hardware or software have been to my PC since yesterday. Is this error message  actually saying that the trial license has expired?

      Hello John walker

      Your Trial license expires only on the 13th of June 2021.

      It looks like there are some issues with the installation of Discovery or some installation files are corrupted.

      Could you try re-installing the Application with Administrator rights (Right-click on set up and 'Run as admin')?

      If you see this issue even after a re-install, please share the below log files at the mentioned location:

      ~/Ansys Inc

      • Install.log
      • Install_licconfig.log
      • Install.err (if it exists)

      Please, also share the latest folder at C:Users\\AppData\Local\Temp\Discovery
