while iterating a topology optimization, the monitor shows up a strange scale after reaching iteration #100. I use 2022R1 (Build 20211128)

      Hi Healme

Please can you share your model so that I can check on my end to understand it better.

      Regards.

Probably not worth discussing further here as it is neither a bug nor important. Iterations over 100 are just not displayed in a meaningful way. You can check this with the attached model. Open the details of the mass plot and look at the iteration axis. Since the axis shows at most 5 values, this effect occurs. Furthermore, there are rarely topology optimizations with more than 100 iterations where the mass still changes significantly.

Thanks for your update. I will check and will let you know if I have any more information on this.

      Hi Healme

I was not not able to reproduce this behavior at my end in Discovery 2022 R1 version. Please check the attached image.

      Regards.

Devendra Badgujar Thank you for the cross check. After 100 iterations you won't know, is it 101 or 109 iterations, the graph shows only steps of ten. Is there another display that accurately shows the number of iterations over 100?

The mass value has almost converge after 60 iterations and so the substeps are in the higher range. Please check this image which shows converged value for Mass.

        Regards.
