      I suggest you to apply a pressure on one edge with the value of Sigma nominal and apply either a fixed support condition on the other edge or a displacement condition of ux = 0 (assuming x as the direction of the loading).nI personally like to apply displacement ux = 0 on the other edge, If you do this then you need to turn off Solver Pivot Checking in Analysis Settings.nnIn my example, I considered Sigma nominal equal to 5 MPa.nnI got 15,32 MPa as a result, you have to remember that the famous factor of 3 is the solution for an infinite plate, so if you want to get closer to that answer you could either consider a smaller circle or a bigger plate.

      I agree with Bruno's recommendation. Applying a fixed restraints provides numerical stability, If for some reason, you must have equal and opposite pressures applied, you might be able to obtain a converged solution by turning weak springs ON. n
