struggling with Meshing options

  I've just started using Ansys, and I'm given a roll cage to do structural analysis. But, I'm struggling to find optimum settings to create a successful fine mesh. I just know basic settings such as Element size, Defeaturing, Refinement, and a few others. Can someone guide me to determine meshing options with reference to my roll cage design? I'm using 16.2 verison
