Student license expiring

  Good evening everyone,
  My name is Nikos Zoupas and I am a student and I am using Ansys for thesis but soon my license will expire. Could anyone guide me on how can i renew my license?

  You'll need to download the package and re-install. The Student licence is embedded into the installer.

  Thank you for your response. Is it necessary to unistall the old version first? Also a new version of ansys would read the already existing files?

  If you're switching to 2023R1 then you don't need to uninstall, although it's best to given the size of the install files. The new version should read all files, the only caveat is if there's been a change in a package so something is no longer included. I don't think that's the case for the CFD tools, but can't comment on some of the others.
