SubscriberHi,
I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 which has the 4GB min and is documented to be compatible with the Explore stage. However, I get the warning "Explore stage may not run properly because your graphics card has less than the required 4GB of memory" Similalry I get the warning when running the compatibility utility:
-
Graphics device is not compatible with Discovery Explore stage.
-
This machine does not meet the minimum hardware requirements.
-
Discovery requires a minimum of 4 GB of graphics memory. Discovery may not run properly because your graphics device does not have the minimum required memory.
-
The drivers are reported correctly by the utility:

SubscriberHello Wess Gates
Although minimum 4Gb is required, 8 GB dedicated GPU RAM is recommended. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is a GeForce Card. Discovery may work on GeForce cards, but not officially supported since there is no testing done for the same. I would suggest you update the graphics card drivers from the manufacturers' website and see if that helps (avoid the 5xx.x graphic card driver, as it has shown some other issues). Since you have multiple graphic cards, as a next step make sure you check whether right card is applied.
Regards

SubscriberHi Charudatta Bandgar
It appears that your suggestion to roll back to an older driver resolved the problem. I have had Discovery for 3 years and it has not previously given this warning. Thank you for the support. In case this is helpful to anyone here is the output of the compatibility checker after rolling back to an older NVIDIA driver.
The Discovery Compatibility Checker results are as follows:
-
Graphics device is compatible with Discovery Model stage.
-
Graphics device is compatible with Discovery Explore stage.
-
Graphics device is compatible with Discovery Refine stage.
