SubscriberHi all,nI have been running a simulation on HFSS to analyze the E and H Field of a silicon substrate and I need to somehow find a way to export these data points in a tabulated format. I have plotted the Mag_E and Mag_H fields graphically, but I can't figure out how to get the specific values in a spreadsheet of sorts that I could export. Anyone know how to do this? nThanks!n -

Ansys Employee,nUsually, the fields can be exported from Ansys HFSS in the below ways:nPlot 2D contour plot by specifying the geometry/object and the quantity - so you will get a flattened Mag_E or Mag_H plot - then export it as '.csv' format.nThrough 'Compute max parameters' (from Project Manager - Radiation) you can get the field exported in .csv formatnnHope this addressed your concern.nnRegards,n -

SubscribernThanks for the comment. I tried exporting the Mag_E, and it gave me the points in a .aedtplt file. I am not sure how I could open this or convert it into a more universal file format.n
