SubscriberHello,
I am working on the design and analysis of synchronous reluctance motor.May i know how to plot the temperature distribution in the motor in Ansys Maxwell

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Maxwell calculates loss, not temperature. You could couple Maxwell with workbench thermal to pass the loss data and calculate the temperature in thermal, then you have the feed back temperature data in Maxwell from thermal solver to plot.

SubscriberHello sir,
Thanks a lot for your valuable information. I need to select ferrite magnet as a part of my design. Which temperature magnet is to be selected? I did not find the ferrite magnets in ansys with various temperatures.... May i know what is the temperature for the given y30bh plot? How to do the cosimulation to find the temperature in the motor? Can you share the reference?

Ansys EmployeeHello,
You need to edit the material and import the BH data from manufacturer datasheet for different temperature. You can check the training contents on ANSYS Learning Hub Home - Electronics Building (sapjam.com). There are also some example videos on Youtube.
