Temperature is constant all over the piston (solid body) in Steady state thermal simulation

I'm doing steady state thermal simulations on a Piston to analyse the distribution of temperature for different materials.

I have given a temperature of 200°C on the top surface of the piston. When I run the simulation and check the temperature result, the whole body has a temperature of 200°C. There is no temperature gradient.

However long the the piston is, there is no temperature distribution.

I haven't considered convection. So does ansys assume conduction as display the temperature as same all over ?

If you put another temperature on the other end of the piston, say 20C you should see temp gradient. Conduction is assumed in Ansys.n
