Text User Interface initialization

      Hi,

      I have a geometry with 2 inlets (gas and liquid). I want to initialize flow from the gas-inlet using TUI. The TUI is the best way to initialize in HPC environment. I am conversant with /solve/initialize/hyb-initialization. I have been trying to achieve the one to initialize from gas-inlet but not been working out.

      Please i need some help.

      Have a look in
      /solve/initialize
      and you'll see several options, have a look in those. It's there.

      These are the options coming up
      /display/set//solve/initialize>
      compute-defaults/ reference-frame
      hyb-initialization repair-wall-distance
      init-flow-statistics set-defaults/
      initialize-flow set-hyb-initialization
      list-defaults vof-patch-smooth-options/

      /display/set//solve/initialize>
      And not able to manipulate this in fluent.
      I want to get in done in fluent before writing same in HPC

      Rob I was able to arrive at this
      /display/set//solve/initialize//solve/initialize//solve/initialize//solve/initialize/compute-defaults> mass-flow-inlet/
      (liquid-inlet gas-inlet)
      zone id/name [liquid-inlet] 26/gas-inlet
      Invalid zone.
      I have tried to go from but been unable. What do i do about the zone id/name. I got the id to be 26.

      Please put in the commands carefully - much of the above looks like repeats and it's not clear what you actually typed in. If it's a multiphase problem you may also need to set the phase domain when setting the defaults.

      So you need to set the boundary type, then name and finally phase to get the default boundary. Then you initialise.

      Do you mean /solve/initialize/compute-defaults/mass-flow-inlet/gas-inlet/phase-1-natural-gas ?
      The aim is to apply it in HPC

      Nearly, the / are to separate menu levels beyond that you tend to use spaces. Before you use the HPC always test the journal locally on a small model.
