SubscriberAlready tried several times, still got same issues.
Then I try to delete/uninstall all spaceclaim and discovery R2. Next, re-extract the DISCOVERY_2021R2_WINX64, of course with "run as administrator", then re-install the file inside ( Discovery and Spaceclaim).
After finish installation, I try to run the Discovery R2, still got same problem. But, the SpaceclaimR2 can open smoothly.

SubscriberNo, Still same issue.
My hypothesis is Discovery Simulation 2021R2 cannot be supported by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.
My alternative is using Discovery 2021R1, this work nicely but it is disappointing to cannot use latest feature updated in newer version.

Subscriberin my case it is a RTX 4000, this graphics card is often used and also works with the latest version 2022R1. Only one computer with RTX 4000 unfortunately Discovery does not work and causes the same error here.
Another computer has a Quadro P3200 which should also work. It does not seem to be the graphics card and driver alone, possibly a third hardware/software component!? -

Ansys EmployeeThere are two exe file in Discovery installer and those exe is related this is related Microsoft Visual C++ 2019.
Then you can see two program "2019vcredist_x86.exe" and "2019vcredist_x64.exe" after move to "DISCOVERY_2022R1_WINX64>>prereq".
After that, could you please install it and check whether launched Discovery or not.-

山口様、お世話になっております。
私も2022R1が起動できずに困っていましたが、ここを見て解決しました。
インストーラーでまとめてインストールしていただければ良いのですが。
解決したので良しとします。

Please try disabling Intel graphics on the machine.
Also please try installing the latest redistributable. You can try installing the appropriate one from here: Latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads | Microsoft Docs
Please try installing the VC_redist.x64.exe and vc_redist.x86.exe for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022 package. If you already have 2015 installed, you may need to uninstall before installing this downloaded version.
Regards.
