SubscriberDear community,
I wanted to calculate the dispersion curve, but I don't know how to implement the constraint equations with complex numbers in the Apdl command. I found in an article that I have to duplicate manually the unit cell. How can that solve the problem?
Thanks in advance

Ansys EmployeeFor cyclic symmetry analysis the duplicate method is used. Here the user provides the basic sector. ANSYS creates a duplicate sector of this mesh. The real part is represented by the basic sector and the imaginary part is represented by the duplicate sector. Then constraint equations are written connecting the 'basic' and 'duplicate' sector.
