The different simulation results by using different version

      Hello everyone,


       


      I was simulating the flow dynamics in a rotating packed bed model using Fluent 19R3 and Fluent 16.1. However, the simulation results are different. The liquid fraction obtained by Fluent 19R3 is higher than that obtained by Fluent 16.1. In this model, the Eulerian model was used and the drag forces in the porous was defined by UDF.


       


      I checked the limitation of Fluent 19R3 and found out there is a new limitation for porous media. I wonder does this limitation cause the problem. I switched the porous interface zones to porous jump boundary. But after the Eulerian model was selected, the following information came out. Whether the Eulerian model and porous jump boundary cannot be selected simultaneously?
