The mesh generation did not complete due to poor quality elements or incorrect input

      Hi,

I have a problem with mesh, too.   In my case, i work with Fluid Flow (Fluent) system. I imported the geometry well, unmodified by space claim to but the mesh is the problem. This is message:

" The mesh generation did not complete due to poor quality elements or incorrect input. Please try meshing with another mesh method or different mesh options. "

Does the geometry have to be open or closed?  My geometry is STL format.

       What is it meaning?

      Thank you so much,

It means the mesh has failed. Go into the geometry and have a look to see what the shape looks like, assuming it's valid move to Meshing to see how the sizes etc tie up to the geometry.

Ok, but  how can I know if the geometry is correct?

      Is there some tool?

      This is geometry.

You may struggle to mesh that with the Student/Academic licence limitations. Check the various branches to make sure you have a flow volume. Have you got a volume in SpaceClaim?
