the relation between pinball and meshing size

  Hello, I have a question on the relation between pinball and meshing size. Should the meshing size of contact pair always be smaller than the pinball? Hoping to get your help.

  are you asking circles at the mouse cursor
  
  the inner circle is defeaturing size
  
  circle after than is min size
  
  circle after that is max size

  As shown in the following figure, what I mean the "Pinball" is the radius defined for ANSYS Workbench to search for contact and target elements.
