Can I extract the thermal resitance and capacitance from Icepak after defining the geometry and material? So that the result would be a thermal network?
Thank you.April 21, 2022 at 10:05 pmNikhil TamhankarAnsys EmployeeHi ,
Just to double check, do you mean like a R C network for transient cases like a Foster or Cauver network ? Do you have some sort of an explicit CAD geometry of the package with all the parts and materials ?

However, Icepak and Twin Builder / Simplorer can be used to perform the large number of trials and simulations needed for curve fitting required for the R C network creation.
