Thermal Wall Boundary Condition for Furnace/Refractory

      Dear all,

I have questions, if I know the material properties of the wall (i.e., heat capacity, thermal conductivity,  thickness, density) and I am not meshing the solid wall, what boundary condition is representative for combustion modelling + species to account for heat loss through the wall (Given that I dont know the heat flux)? My furnace internal fluid temperature is order of magnitude higher than it suppose to be. I dont think I am injecting too much fuel or oxygen. My residuals are pretty good (all -4 ~ e-7).

      Thanks
      Jee

Wall: have a look at the Thermal tab. Assuming you're using Fluent.
