Time-averaged streamlines in FLUENT

      Hi everyone

Would you please let me know how I can draw the time-averaged or time-mean streamlines in the transient solution in FLUENT?

Note: I don't mean the colormap of the pathline in the pathline option which can be set to mean velocity; I mean the mean flow streamlines.

      Many thanks

You get first of all mean velocities by data sampling, then you patch the velocity field with the mean velocity field and then draw streamlines.

Or you add some more details to better understand your request!

Thank you for your quick reply!
I have the Mean Velocity values through the sampling process for more than 50000 time-steps. It is a bluff body in the domain and has vortex shedding on the wake side; the mean streamline will be symmetric; I cannot draw that.
How can I patch the mean velocity values?

Thank you so much! found out how to patch the mean values.
There is still an issue! As the domain has been divided into sub-domains, after patching the values, the streamlines are discrete; is there any way to solve this?

I dunno not understand why patching will result in subdomains.

If seeing discontinuities you might run a couple of iterations with all urfs set to very low value perhaps that helps.
