Time varying permittivity in FDTD?

  I was wondering if it is possible to implement materials with time varying electric permittivity for FDTD simulation using lumerical?

  With plugin material it may be possible, depending on the temporal change. We have a simple step function example: https://support.lumerical.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034394734-Advanced-and-custom-optical-material-models-in-FDTD-and-MODE
  Please be noted that plugin material is a very advanced feature. Deep understanding of FDTD update equations is needed and very limited technical support is provided.
