Torsional moment on composite pipe

      Hi everyone

I am trying to set up an example for parameter optimization including ACP. Now I am struggling in an early stage.

My geometry is a pipe, simply supported on one edge and loaded by a torsional moment at the opposite edge.

Now I wanted to show that a stackup of two UD layers is most rigid with layer degrees of +-45° in direction of highest principal stresses. Now the problem is +-60° seems to be the more rigid option leading to smaller deformations.

      Can anyone see the problem?

      Thanks for your help!
