I am facing a problem with probing the state of a beam. I am trying to figure out if it is under tensile force or compressing force in the direction of its axial and the value of the force.
BTW, both ends of the beam are connected to other solid parts in Fixed Joint.

SubscriberIf it is a Beam element, you can insert the Beam Tool into the results and the Direct Stress is the axial stress. Tension is positive compression is negative stress.
