Transient simulation reaching steady state

I have a question regarding **** to difentify if transient simulation reached steady state, as this is the interesting phase for me, the steady state phase. I have a small timestep size of 9e-6 based on the Cfl condition, and let the simulation run for 1000 timesteps. However, how can I know the time required to reach steady state.

Use monitor points, you can plot "stuff" with time and see what you get. Use points rather than surface averages as the latter can smear out the results.
Not sure what the profanity filter blocked, it's been a little over zealous of late and seems to dislike several engineering terms: we've had to look a few up to find out why it's objecting too, and then removing that word from the list.
