Translators

  On older versions of SC there were translator add-ons to be able to open files in other formats. With the new Discovery version, I didn't seem to need that until I now that I downloaded Version 2023, Service Pack 2. I can no longer open .ipt files, what do I need to do to be able to do so?

  Hello Roger,
  When you are installing Discovery it is important to verify you have Ansys Geometry Interfaces Selected. Then you will also need to configure these options. If you skip the configuration, you will need to manually configure these geometry interfaces using the Product & CAD Configuration Manager before you can successfully import models into Ansys products.
  
  You can launch Product & CAD Configuration Manager from the Windows Start Menu. Make sure you have all the required options selectioned as mentioned in the images below:
