  In mat-197, the type of element must be beam? Do you have an example that uses mat-197?

  Hello,
  MAT_197 has been developed for discrete beam elements, meaning for ELFORM=6 on *SECTION_BEAM.
  Looking at the corresponding references mentioned in the manual vol II for MAT_197 may help.
