How can I calculate the turbulent intensity of high speed compressible gas flow? I don't have the data for velocity at inlet. I only know the mass flow rate and pressure at inlet.

      Hi,

Assuming you have a uniform cross-section and isothermal conditions u can calculate the outlet pressure by applying bernouliis equation for compressible flow analytically and attain pressure at outlet , which you can use further in your k-epsilon model. This can be used if you have a simple model.

      I hope it works.

      thanks,

      vinayak
