SubscriberHi everyone.
I am trying to simulate the interaction of a surgical (semicircular) needle and human skin, using Explicit Dynamics in Ansys 20019 R3, I need to move the needle so that it rotates through its circular path. By means of the remote displacement option I can indicate the degrees to rotate and its steps, but I cannot control the speed or measure the force that is exerted on a certain face or part, due to this I have some doubts.
- How to measure the force in Newtons that is exerted on a certain face?
- How to rotate an object in explicit dynamics from a given force, since in explicit dynamics it does not appear the option of torque?
- How to increase the maximum simulation time, do I need to run the simulation in at least 2 real seconds, or how to extrapolate the results if I simulate with times of the order of 0.008 s?
I hope you can help me.

Subscriberndid u get the answer for your third pointnHow to increase the maximum simulation time, do I need to run the simulation in at least 2 real seconds, or how to extrapolate the results if I simulate with times of the order of 0.008 s?n -

SubscribernYou can indicate to the program the final time in the final step (Analysis settings), in addition, if you put several steps you can edit their time in the tabular data.n
