Twisting Model

  Hi Everyone, nI was wondering if you could please help with modelling a twistable object, please? nI have a 3d cylindrical design that upon applying an axial tensile strain it will expect to extend as well as radial rotation simultaneously! but when I simulated the model in workbench just the side where the force applied it twist and expand radially however the expansion should apply along with the object not just at one end? the sample length is 150 mm and dimension 20 mm. nany help or advice on this would be much appreciated.nThanks,nMon

  nPlease insert images in your reply of what your geometry looks like at the start of the simulation, the boundary conditions, the loads and the deformation results.n
