SubscriberThis is a fluid / structure interaction analysis for an hydrostatic test performed on a distillation tower. IMAGE 1 shows the maximum equivalent stress of my model. It appears immediately when I solve my results and it says: 35.812 psig. IMAGE 2 shows maximum equivalent stress of 28.384 psig on a different zone of my model after adding the contour variable. Why am I having two different values for the same model? Thanks.

The Results preview shown immediately after solving is of lower fidelity and hence it can be a little different to the result shown after solving for a specific variable. This explained in more detail in the Help Document.
